Akihiro Mishima Joins Korn Ferry as Senior Client Partner

Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY) announced that Akihiro Mishima has joined the firm as a senior client partner. He will be based in the Tokyo office.

Mr. Mishima brings to the firm nearly ten years of experience consulting at a global executive search firm. He has provided hands-on support to client companies not only in search but also in executive assessment and other talent management-related consulting capacities. He has also managed several Japan key accounts on a global basis.

Prior to working in executive search, Mr. Mishima was the director of marketing, North Asia, at Herbalife in Japan. He began his career at Suntory Ltd., where he held various leadership roles in marketing, finance, corporate planning and M&A functions. He spent over 14 years in senior management overseas for Suntory’s major subsidiary companies in the U.S. and Southeast Asia, including serving as vice president, regional marketing at Cerebos Pacific Ltd. in Singapore.

Mr. Mishima holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, IL, U.S.A. He received a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
