Rafael Sarandeses, New Head of the Financial Services Practice at Talengo

Talengo, the global executive search and leadership consulting firm, has named Rafael Sarandeses Principal and practice lead for financial services, a sector undergoing a strong process of transformation at an international level.

Rafael has a combined 20-year multicultural track record as a successful professional athlete, investment banker and entrepreneur.

After a decade in Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in London, where he was the head of foreign exchange sales for Southern Europe, in 2014 he co-founded ThirdWay Africa, a merchant banking services firm focused on impact investment opportunities with offices in London, Maputo (Mozambique) and Harare (Zimbabwe).

Sarandeses brings to Talengo’s financial services practice a deep understanding of the industry based on his career experience as a banker, as an entrepreneur and as an executive coach.
