Korn Ferry: Closing the Perception Gap Between Management and Employees
Korn Ferry explores the results of a survey of almost 1,000 executives regarding the company perceptions of senior leaders and their employees. What Korn Ferry discovered is a large disparity between how employees see their company as opposed to how those in the C-Suite do, particularly in regards to the vision and mission of the organization. This publication suggests leaders look to expand their agility to help close this gap.
Key findings from the survey include:
- 11.6% of senior management view their organizations’ “Purpose and “Vision” more positively than their employees.
- Employees view their companies’ performance in “Accountability and Fairness” 12.2% more negatively than senior management.
- There is a larger gap between management and employee perceptions in regards to “Purpose and Vision” in the APAC region than any other region.
