Russell Reynolds Associates, in collaboration with Toigo Foundation, presents its “Career Crossroads: The Talent Migration from Finance to Tech – Real or Overrated?” report. This study is based on a survey of professionals in the finance industry as well as from a mix of focus groups discussions and executive interviews. This report looks at the talent migration trend from finance organizations to technology-focused companies and the motivations behind such a move.

Notable findings include:

• 80% of survey respondents indicated a flexible work schedule is as an important work/life balance factor.
• 50% of those surveyed indicated a likely or extremely likely leave of their job in the next 1 – 3 years.
• 50% of respondents say they are unlikely to leave the financial industry.
