Boyden Canada Healthcare Heightens Presence

James Stonehouse and Pamela Colquhoun boost the firm’s growing profile in Canadian healthcare executive recruitment

Boyden, a global talent and leadership advisory firm with more than 65 offices in over 40 countries, announced that James Stonehouse and Pamela Colquhoun have joined as Partners in Toronto. The new partners will further boost Boyden’s standout Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice.

Their clients have included Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Alberta Health Services, Southlake Regional Health Centre, Eastern Health Newfoundland and Labrador, St. Joseph’s Health System, Ontario Long Term Care Association and Ontario Retirement Communities Association.

Over the past 20 years, he has led searches for top healthcare provider organizations, health policy and consulting groups, life sciences and medical device firms across Canada. His breadth of expertise and commitment to clients have made him a trusted advisor within the evolving healthcare landscape.

Colquhoun has built a reputation as a leader in the highly specialized field of healthcare executive, physician and non-physician leadership recruitment. For nearly 20 years, she has led hundreds of successful searches for hospitals, academic centres, regional health authorities and associations nationwide. A diversity and inclusion advocate, Colquhoun will join 63 other partners in Boyden’s Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice, 40 percent of whom are women, and serve as an influencer of the firm’s #DisruptTheNorm diversity initiative.

Stonehouse holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College at the University of Toronto. Colquhoun holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Laurentian University.
