Witt/Kieffer Names New Consultant to Information Technology Practice

Witt/Kieffer announced the addition of Malissa O’Rourke Miot as a consultant in the firm’s Healthcare Information Technology practice. Based in the Boston area, Miot brings vast expertise in health IT innovation and consulting, and will focus on identifying key IT leadership for the nation’s top hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, payors, IT vendors and consulting firms.

Miot has 17 years of experience in healthcare IT with strong knowledge of clinical information systems and the national healthcare market. She is the Past President of the New England Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Chapter (NEHIMSS), and has served on the NEHIMSS Board since 2013. Miot received the board recognition award in 2014 for her success in building a team of volunteers and creating a process for the sponsorship committee, which provided the revenue to fund educational and networking events for the organization.

Witt/Kieffer’s healthcare IT practice brings expertise and quality to the assessment and recruitment of prominent IT leaders in healthcare and education, as well as other technology-driven industries. This includes roles such as Chief Information Officer, Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief Nurse Information Officer, and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining Witt/Kieffer, Miot was Regional Director, North East for Oneview Healthcare, a global provider of interactive patient care platforms to hospitals. Prior to this, she was a Senior Account Executive for almost six years with Leidos Health, formerly Vitalize Consulting Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to the implementation, integration, optimization and strategy of healthcare IT systems and EMR vendors for hospitals and healthcare facilities. In her role, she worked with C-level and other senior level executives to meet client objectives across the enterprise including ancillary, clinical and financial departments.
