Korn Ferry: Survey in Tech Sector Reveals Gap in Talent
According to Korn Ferry, the majority of senior executives at technology firms today do not feel they have their Internet of Things-related talent in place. This statistic comes from a survey of more than 60 top tech firm executives, produced by Korn Ferry. While the majority of respondents believe their current talent is sufficient for today’s needs, the confidence in the teams drop significantly in regards to the future.
Notable findings from the survey include:
- Only 27% of respondents say their organization is actively helping re-skill employees affected by automation.
- Less than half of respondents agree their organization has a talent strategy to build or buy talent needed for future skills gaps.
- 36% of respondents believe their organization has the talented needed to deliver future business strategy.
